Best Scary Movies to Watch this Halloween!

It’s the end of October officially, you know what that means: Halloween!

If you plan to be boring and stay in and snuggle up to a bowl of candy and a movie, than this list is for you.

Whether you are looking for something to watch with your friends, GF/BF or kids, grab a bowl of popcorn and check out one of these TERRIFYINGLY good flicks.

Here is our Top 10, Happy Halloween!!

IT (2017)

The newest on the list and based on the Stephen King’s novel, IT is the first film of a two-film series, with the sequel scheduled to be released in 2019. Just check out the trailer below.. If you are terrified by clowns, this might or might not be the right film for you.

Hotel Transylvania (2012)

A great Halloween film for the whole family! In this fun film, Count Dracula runs a lavish resort where monsters to go to get some RnR.

Scream (1996)

If you haven’t seen this, then you’re really missing out. This was the start of the “thriller, horror” come back in the mid-90s. Be prepared to Scream.

Gremlins (1984)

“Classic” is the only way to describe Gremlins. Never judge a book by its cover, and never feed these cute, furry creatures after midnight; no matter how much they beg.

Sleepy Hollow (1999)

Sleepy Hollow is Tim Burton’s gothic supernatural horror, following detective Ichabod Crane as he tries to solve the mystery of a murderous headless horesman brought back from the dead.

Leprechaun (1993)

List this as a D-grade horror, it’s not really that scary. But the special effects and graphics are worth the watch. Not to mention, this is one of the first films starring Jennifer Aniston.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

Disney’s comedy, horror-ish film Hocus Pocus, is a family pleaser, starring Bette Midler, SJP and Kathy Najimy as the evil witches tormenting the town of Salem, Mass.

Ghostbusters (1984)

Ghostbusters needs no introductions, but nothing can overtake the original.

Frankenweenie (2012)

Another Tim Burton film!

Halloween (1978)

John Carpenter’s Halloween is a classic and one of the most successful indie horror movies. This is our favourite Halloween flick for 2017.
