Powering Volunteerism @ #StartupDay!
Startup Canada Day on the Hill
Last week, we had an amazing time at Startup Canada Day on the Hill, the largest annual national entrepreneurship event convening more than 1,100 leading entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, industry executives, and government representatives, supporting the main stage program: speaker and sponsor engagement and media relations.
Raange Powering Call-to-Actions!
However, we were most excited about powering volunteerism. During the conference, Matt Seniuk Head of Growth was suited up with one of our powered t-shirts (see below).
StartupDay presented the perfect opportunity to power a different kind of call-to-action for our friends at Startup Canada. Running a non-profit is not an easy task, and finding volunteers that can get behind your vision is essential to running a good organization and amazing events, like StartupDay.
So it was obvious to create a call-to-action that supported this objective: “Make A Difference – Volunteer. Text “Startup” to 70707.” We had some great reviews, as participants found it fast and easy to simply text-in to begin their registration.
In the end, we had nearly 70 text-ins to this ONE shirt!
Thanks again to Startup Canada for putting together a great conference, and for giving us the opportunity to test our powered t-shirts!
